Crabtown Concierge supports the Volvo Ocean Race

Visitors to the Maryland Maritime Heritage Festival and Volvo Ocean Race festivities were treated to free “Come Sail Away” sponsor T-shirts by Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Conference and Visitor’s Bureau members.

AAACCVB member, Felicia Barlow, also volunteered her time at both events, helping in the headquarters and setting up/taking down tents.

Felicia Barlow named Gala Consultant to the 2006 Women in Film & Video Women of Vision Gala

After Felicia’s one-of-kind production last year of this annual fundraiser, she is honored to be named Consultant for 2006. The gala salutes women who forge new paths in the film/video industry. It will be held on June 23 at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC. Tickets available via www.wifv.org.

Felicia Barlow spearheads Testudo art exhibit on display at Lawyer’s Mall

Felicia wrote the winning proposal for the “Maryland Mosaic” entry into the University of Maryland’s prestigious Fear the Turtle art exhibit. Deemed “Tippy”, the team of artists included UM alums Felicia and Bill Barlow Jr., designing artist Lynne Heiser, and collaborator Monique Owens.

The front of “Tippy” honors the achievements of the University, including a photo of Felicia’s brother “Billy the Überfan”; while the back commemorates the foundation that supports the college, the State of Maryland.

“Tippy” is one of 50 juried sculptures, celebrating the school’s 150th anniversary, and one of only a few highlighted off the College Park campus. Statues will be auctioned off in October to raise scholarship funds for the university.
